Instances Overview
The Instances Overview window provides the most critical data about each connected Oracle instance.
A high level overview is presented in a tabular view.
With a single click, the Instance Main window, Activity Explorer window,
or Session Details window can be opened for the corresponding Oracle instance.
The Instances Overview window provides the following vital information for each instance:
Status of connection - possible values: "Connected"; "Connecting"; "Sleeping" - Lab128 sleeps before making a new connection attempt;
"Paused" - Lab128 is paused by user; "Paused/Discon" - Lab128 is paused by user and disconnected from Oracle;
"Viewing saved data" - This monitor is running in the Viewer mode;
Response time - The response time of the last executed query;
Current top non-idle wait event - self descriptive;
Number of active sessions - see Active Sessions for details;
Percentage of filled Redo Log groups that have not been archived - see Logs Not Archived for details;
Shortcuts.
The picture below shows the hot spots in the Instances Overview window.
Clicking in those areas will open the corresponding window for the corresponding Oracle instance.
The popup menu can be called by right-clicking on the corresponding row in the table.
The selected row is highlighted.
Pause - suspends querying Oracle instance, the connection is maintained;
Pause / Disconnect - suspends querying Oracle instance and disconnects;
Resume - resumes querying the instance and, if necessary, reconnects to Oracle;
Autoconnect on Startup - check this option to automatically connect to the instance the next time Lab128 starts.
If checked, the username and password are stored in encrypted form in the Lab128.ini file

Copy text - copies text from the selected cell onto the clipboard;
Instances Overview window can be called from the Main menu: Instance | All - Overview, or using F4 hotkey.
